The only infectious waste
facility serving
North Central
Indiana
Ampro currently collects infectious waste for over 450 clients in the Northern Indiana Region. Our clients include hospitals, clinics, dental and doctors' offices. Ampro serves as a regional infectious waste treatment facility for healthcare facilities from Indiana's Howard County north to the Michigan state line, and from the Illinois to Ohio state lines.
Sterilzation of infectious waste is the safest method of treatment. Now Northern Indiana has a local, professional choice. At our facility, our stainless steel treatment carts are loaded, then wheeled into our autoclave. The autoclave treats the waste with low pressure steam at 275 degrees F. After the process is complete, the treated waste is removed, compacted and transported to a local landfill where it can safely be disposed of with no further treatment.
